My beloved uncle Bill Gore Hattiesburg, MS Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Hulett-Winstead Sumrall Chapel for Mr. Bill Gore, 92, of Hattiesburg, MS who passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021. Internment will be in Advance Cemetery. Bill never met a stranger, which not only made him a successful business man of over 60 years, it also endeared him to all who ever knew him. He will be remembered by his large extended family and friends as a devoted, generous, kind, selfless and loving man. More importantly, he would want to be remembered as a faithful servant and follower of Christ. He was a member of Westover Baptist Church and was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Gore was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Glenda Gore; a wife of 7 years, Tommie Jean Gore; brothers, Lamar, Eddie and Don Gore and sisters, Gerri Laird, Sue Odell, Tony Girello, Judy Stephenson, Bobbye Sladek and Lynn Gore. He is survived by one son, Greg Gore (Deborah) of Hattiesburg, MS; three daughters, Sherrie Gore of Slidell, LA, Renee Parker (Andy) of Hattiesburg, MS and Kym Jones (Randy) of Milton, FL; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hulett-Winstead Sumrall Chapel.
